Alright, got that out of the way! Week was a busy one, with both Jakob’s TT Festival and the iWill ride on the weekend, and the regular weekday rides going ahead. Both of the weekend rides were well attended by our members and lots of money was raised for iWill! Let’s make this quick cause I want to eat dinner.

Event Updates:

  2. Cross Camp!!! A great event held by Shaun Adamson, check it out here: https://www.facebook.com/events/1778279702185552/ it’s a weekend of learning how to Cross! We highly recommend this if this is your first year crossing!

  3. MEC is looking for volunteers for their Triathlon this Saturday. They’re looking for people from 7:30am till 12:30pm for the swim leg, and will be offering free entries to the MEC Gran Fondo on September 16.

Ride Updates:

  1. Tuesdays are now officially cross rides! Meeting places will be determined week of based on attendance, but this will be shorter intervals with work on sand, grass, gravel and some single/double track! Road Intervals may be held if requested, please post on the Facebook page and see if anyone else is up for it. This will not affect women’s rides.

  2. Weekend rides as scheduled, good luck to all our racers racing Provincial Time Trial!

  3. Sunday is the Cross Camp Race, open to everyone! Register here: https://zone4.ca/register.asp?id=15739&lan=1&cartlevel=1 and make sure you register for the Sunday afternoon race only if you are interested. It is very possible to do both the cruiser ride and the race! (I’m gonna try to do this!)
