As the last cross race was this weekend, this wraps up the 2018 racing season and we start to look ahead to next year. There’s still plenty of events and happenings between now and the new year, but not all of them may happen on bikes, but will definitely still be bicycle related!

Club Updates:

  1. MEC Club Night is November 5. Happening twice a year, you get 10% off everything, including boats, bikes, skis, you name it. MEC stuff is already amazingly priced and a great value so this is just the icing on top. How it works: Show up. Say you’re with ERTC to the staff member at the front. Get coupon. Buy your stuff. Optional: stop by our table to say hi. Super Optional: help staff our table and talk to potential clubmates! Let me know if you wanna help out.

  2. AGM-  We’ve set a date of November 30, but location is TBD. We have a bunch of official business to attend to, including elections. My position (President) as well as James Carver’s (Treasurer) are up for grabs. I will be letting my name stand, so if you want to run, we will have a good ol’ fashioned election again me! However, James will be stepping down so we will definitely need someone new!  Check out the descriptions:

Ride Updates:

  • Thursdays are always a go until the snow flies. There may be 2 groups going, one earlier to enjoy the daylight, and one later one which will require big lights as some of the hills get fairly dark. As always, post to Facebook.

  • Saturday rides are very weather dependant - post on the Facebook group to see if anyone is interested.
