Women’s Learn to Crit clinic tommorow - whats a criterium? It’s the most exciting type of racing that focuses on high speed laps on a tight course - Our very own Amanda Scott and Jessica Lacoursiere are hosting a clinic on cornering and sprinting with a focus on getting you ready for this type of racing becauuuuuuuse… (Event link at https://www.facebook.com/events/610478622768963/ - Research Park at 6:30!)
Castrol Criterium on Wednesday! See the poster, but it’s a great chance to either experience or race a criterium on a safe closed course with no traffic!
There is now a strava event for our Highwood Pass ride on Saturday, including both options, please check it out! Please note that because this is Highwood Pass, there is still the possibility for cold weather (read: sleet and snow). The forecast is not looking too hot so this ride MAY be rescheduled to a later date due to rain / snow / whatever. Unfortunately a later date means that the road will now be open to traffic but alas… Also of note that the timing is such that you can easily make it a day trip - a long day nonetheless but doable!
